Request account deletion

You're in control of your data. Delete your HisabRakh account and personal information right from the app, or use the form below if you no longer have access.

① Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in HisabRakh, where we can verify it's really you:

Open Settings
Tap your profile, then Settings → Account.

Choose "Delete account"
Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen and tap Delete account.

Confirm
Re-enter your password or passcode and confirm. Your account and personal data are queued for permanent deletion.

② Request via this form

Lost access to the app or your device? Submit a request below and our team will verify your identity by email before deleting your data.

Use the email associated with your HisabRakh account.
Request received. We'll email you within 48 hours to verify, then complete deletion within 30 days. You can also email us directly at privacy@hisabrakh.com.
Prefer email? Send your request to privacy@hisabrakh.com from your account email address and we'll take it from there.

③ What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently erase:

  • Your profile and login credentials.
  • Your expenses, income, budgets, goals, recurring items and loan ledgers.
  • Your messages and notes, and your personal identifiers within any groups.
  • Backups containing your personal data, on our standard backup-rotation cycle.

What may be retained

  • Shared entries needed to keep other members' balances accurate may be kept in anonymised form ("a former member").
  • Limited records we are legally required to retain (for example, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention records).
  • Aggregated, de-identified statistics that can no longer identify you.

④ Timeline

  • Immediately — your account is deactivated and you're signed out on all devices.
  • Within 48 hours — for web requests, we verify your identity by email.
  • Within 30 days — your personal data is permanently erased from our active systems, and removed from backups on the next rotation.

Cancelling a paid subscription is separate — manage that in your App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future billing.
